Danish delegation to meet with US space sector
A delegation from Innovation Center Denmark and the Danish Consulate is visiting the US to meet with representatives of the US space industry ahead of Danish ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen’s mission to the International Space Station – he is expected to fly as the first non-American pilot of the Crew Dragon spacecraft.
The group will include representatives from companies, research institutions, universities and government bodies connected to the Danish space and technology sector.
As part of this delegation, Sheila Christiansen from the SHEILEX Corporation, will be attending meetings with various stakeholders in the US space sector including SpaceX, Boeing and NASA to foster new relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration between the US and Denmark. The itinerary includes visiting the SpaceX facilities at Boca Chica. She will be accompanied on the trip by SHEILEX co-founders Alexandru Csete and Nathan Browne.

Alexandru Csete
Alex is a highly experienced and innovative Space Systems Engineer with an outstanding track record of working in the aviation and aerospace industry.
Widely respected by his peers, he is highly skilled in systems and software engineering, satellite communications, software defined radios, and embedded systems. Amongst his significant contributions to the industry, he developed Gpredict satellite tracking software used by NASA.
SHEILEX Corporation is a new IoT services organization registered in the US with international operations. It was formed by a group of innovative and entrepreneurial engineers with a rich pedigree in space technology and communications software.
SHEILEX will operate through its specialized business units, providing a seamless, end-to-end ‘full stack’ solution – from business advisory services, IoT consultancy, integrated satellite and 5G communication systems, and data management to deliver a one-stop solution for end-users.
